The matching stand is also custom made with solid walnut and maple, solid metal pegs (zinc with gold color finish) and stainless-steel rods for the column supports. The stand is finished with Waterlox original formula sealer and semi-gloss finish. Waterlox is a resin-modified tung oil formula that forms a waterproof film that wears well and accentuates the beauty of the wood. It is the perfect finish for damp environments such as bathrooms. Rubber feet are also attached to the bottom of the stand to both protect your counters as well as the stand itself. A cyanoacrylate (CA) finish was used on the razor handle that protects the wood providing one of the most durable protective finishes for use on items with heavy handling. The finish is also waterproof and is easily cleaned with water. The wood barrel has been polished to an ultra-smooth glossy shine that feels luxurious to hold.
