Description: Up for sale is a beautiful egg oval shaped door knob and back plate. Backplate is 6&1/4" long. Nice touch with lock hole flap/cover. I only have the one side, sadly. The knob and bar is 7&1/4". We bought it in a box that indicates this was made in Japan. I don't know if the box and the doorknob set actually belong together, but it's how we found it. My husband tells me this is brass or cast bronze. And I always believe him. When he's talking about antiques. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding.
