Description: I picked this vintage molded glass ice bucket out of a bin of items at an antique shop in Atlanta about 1973. Never used it except to hold pens and pencils on my desk for a number of years. The form is of a pail with a frosted surface molded to resemble cracked ice. The rim and attached swing handle appear to be brass, and responded to brass cleaner when I first purchased the item. Haven't cleaned it since. This item was the knock-off of some very expensive pieces made with sterling silver about the same time. Those items usually go for over three hundred or so. The bucket/pail is 5 1/2 inches tall, 9 inches tall with handle. Diameter at opening is 4 1/2 inches. Diameter at bottom is approximately 3 inches. Stored in a non-smoking environment.
