Description: Art Deco Copper Vase | Amphora | Vintage 1930s <>< ><> <>< ><> 14” x 5-1/2” Handle Width 8-1/2” <>< ><> <>< ><> Beautiful large copper vase with art deco flourish and scroll handles. This vintage vase has the distinguishing features of the Art Deco style. It has the simple, clean shape, with a streamlined look and form. The characteristics you might look for in an Art Deco collectible are reflected in this beautiful piece; particularly an admiration for relative simplicity, symmetry, and repetition of stylistic floral elements. This vintage amphora has some history. It was in the liquidation sale from Union Jack’s British Pub. Union Jack’s was practically an institution in Speedway, Indiana, just down Crawfordsville Road from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The vase was used for catered events and sat proudly on a shelf over the bar. <>< ><> <>< ><> This vase is in vintage condition with patina & wear consistent with aged copper pieces. The vase hasn’t been polished, but has been cleaned. No visible maker’s mark. The few tiny scratches reveal the reddish copper color. Magnets will not stick anywhere. See photos.
