Description: Many years ago, I met Art "Golden Boy" Aragon at a boxers' luncheon in Hollywood, California. It was there that Mr. Aragon used my black ink pen to sign the back cover of this 16-page, 8-1/2" x 11-3/4" vintage fight program - "The Knockout," Vol. 24, No. 20, May 20, 1950 issue. Mr. Aragon's signature has excellent contrast. He crossed out "Boy" in his nickname and wrote "Kid" under it. The magazine contains columns written by Don Fraser and Don Chargin. There is also a nice picture of a young boxer, Jackie McCoy. The program shows much wear and is in fair condition (partially split on the spine), however, it will look great when it is framed. This offer includes a 4" x 6" snapshot of Mr. Aragon.
