The mount uses the 4-Hole AMPS mounting pattern (30.17mm x 38.05mm) center to center. Ensuring that your iPad or Samsung tablets stay secure and in place. You must provide the appropriate screws, nuts, bolts, etc....whatever is needed to secure the drill-down base to your flat surface. And please, don't try to screw this into your car's dashboard! There are other options for car mounting. You may need to drill holes in the flat surface, so please keep this in mind BEFORE purchasing. This is a "DRILL-DOWN" mount, meaning you have to screw it into something for it to be mounted properly. The tough, low vibration pedestal swivels on both top and bottom, providing flexibility in positioning the tablet at any angle, offering you maximum visibility of the screen at any angle.
