Arkham House Seabury Quinn Roads Signed Rare Inscription Weird Tales Great

Description: Very rare Arkham, signed by Seabury Quinn in the year of publication to a Beatrice Rogers, and then below the inscription he has added "festo s. Stepanus" which I believe indicates he signed it on December 26th, right after Christmas Day. Not positive of that, but I think that's what that means. While the book has its share of problems this auction is mainly for the autograph. I don't believe you'll find one cheaper! The book itself has some soiling but the binding is strong and very slight staining on the covers. Nice copy, no unwelcome odors. The dust jacket has problems. Chipping, pieces missing, rubbing. I took plenty of pictures so that should help. A facsimile dust jacket would help or if you have a great looking unsigned copy you could marry that DJ to this book, unless some bookish scruples would stop you, but once it is your's it's your's right? Being sold as is, pictures should show you everything. A Quinn signature is very difficult to find anymore, and especially his greatest story signed around Christmas. What a gift that must have been!
