Description: For sale One Live Freshly Cut - Santa Rita, Purple Prickly Pear Cactus Pad - From Southern Arizona. This Purple Prickly Pear Cactus Pad is in excellent growing condition & only $9.95! These cactus pedals hold up very well in the heat or cold & don't need much water once rooted. You should plant them right away & dont let them dry out. Can easily be planted in any regular dirt about 2" deep with the cut end down, water once a week & should grow roots in a few months. They are purple in color most of the year and turn more blueish green in the late summer months of August & September, see last few picts. They produce yellow flowers in season, have hundreds of tiny thorns and measure about 5" - 6" long per pad. These may vary slightly in color and size from the pictures, but will be basicly just like what you see. We have many of them available, some are in smaller new growth & larger older growth stages - "see last picture for planting reference only" Pads will be cut fresh upon ordering & ship USPS ground advantage 2-5 days for the flat rate of $6 per pad and $3 per extra.
