Description: ARGENTINE ARMY FM AB0200 COMBAT & SURVIVAL KNIFE WITHOUT SHEATHMODEL AND ITS VARIANTS USED DURING MALVINAS FALKLANDS 1982 WAR It hasn't the sheath, but an original Argentine green leather sheath can be easily purchased from Liberty Tree Collectors site in the US (idproduct=8780 $20). Full tang carbon steel blade knife, with welded guard and riveted pommel, with honest use, 16-tooth sawback, no dents neither on edge nor spine, sharpened with grinding stone marks, with some phosphatizing on the ricazzos. Handguard, hilt, scales and pommel in very good condition with almost all its phosphatized. The underside of the tang where it meets the pommel is unusually marked with an “A”. The hilt has two hardwood grip panels, held in place with stainless steel rivets. The FM AB0200 knife was manufactured in 3 variants, sinde 1976 the 1st variant, but by 1981 all 3 variants were available, and it was discontinued around 1989/1990. It was manufactured in the Military Factory of Portable Weapons “Domingo Matheu” of the General Direction of Military Fabrications in Rosario, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, as it is stamped on the left side of the blade: FABRICA MILITAR DE ARMAS PORTATILES “DM” ROSARIO D.G.F.M. INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA. Total length: 313 mm - 12 5/32”. Blade length: 190 mm - 7 7/16“ - 7 7/16”. Blade width: 34 mm - 1 1/3“ - 1 1/3”. Blade thickness: 5 mm - 3/16“ - 3/16”.
