Obviously some get damaged in the mail. Some do not get what you would call special postage. But most get a special something on the cover. ONE POINT for you Germany area buyers. The higher values have suspect of being fraudulently canceled. All advanced collectors know this. These fraudulently canceled stamps have little or no value and can only be identified if authenticated. Some of mine are authenticated but I am not familiar with how good the companies are that have done it for this collection. But, I have never heard of fraudulent signatures. So, be careful.
