Blue boards, wrap-around title label. One of 250 copies printed by Carolyn Reading (later Carolyn Hammer) in red and black in Victor Hammer’s iconic American Uncial type. Hammer based his woodcuts of the Evangelists and their symbols on the Holkham Bible drawings. Text is from the 5th century Opus Paschale.
