Description: Up for sale is a very nice antique Waterbury "Kent" walnut shelf clock with an open escapement movement and porcelain dial. The clock works and keeps time to within about 2-3 minutes a week. The clock strikes the hour and once on the half hour as it should. The clock strikes at :28 and :58 instead of exactly on the hour and half. The case is in very good condition as you can see in the photos, with a small spot of wear near the knob on the back door. I believe there should be brass rings around the keyholes, but these are not present. There is a chip on the dial at the edge between 1 and 2, a small hairline at 11 and a little roughness around adjustment hole, all of which are shown in the photos. Overall this clock is in very nice condition and has been well cared for. It measures 9 3/4" high and 18" wide. Please check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions.
