Description: Travel back in time with this With a 14'' body and a 23-1/2'' scale length, it is a 4/4, full-size violin. There is no inside label, so I do not know who the maker is. Fine one-piece flame maple back. Flame maple sides. Spruce top. Cosmetically, it looks pretty good. It is very clean. There are not many scuffs or scrapes. The back particularly has hardly has any scuffs, scratches, or scrapes, if at all. Two relatively small grain cracks on either side of the tailpiece. The neck heel has been well-repaired. The fingerboard has been ramped. The fingerboard has a square peg coming out in the middle. The square peg isn't flush with the surface of the fingerboard. The D peg doesn't match the others. No strings. No bridge. It comes with an unmarked bow. No hair. No case. This violin deserves to be brought back to life. Who's up for it? Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
