Description: This is a stunning large size Victorian steel beaded bag, all original and in excellent condition. It was bought at a department store and has the original box with tissue. The department store was called: "H.S. Barney Company" out of Schenectady, N.Y. The bag measures 13" long from the clasp to the bottom of the fringe and 8" wide. The fringe is perfect. The chain is perfect and overall condition is unused and perfect. It has a rose bouquet in the center on silver steel bead background. More roses around the perimeter in gold steel beads. It is substantial in size and splendor, it weights 1 pound and two ounces. The interior is slightly worn, as shown in pics. The original box is slightly water stained. This bag is perfect for your collection, to use or to hang as wall art or shadow boxed. Nice example of Victorian history in women's couture from the 19 Century. Good luck!
