Antique Victorian Hand-Painted Porcelain Blue & Pink Forget Me Not Flower Brooch

Description: Lovely antique Victorian hand-painted porcelain and metal forget me not flower brooch/pin. This beautiful antique pin is 1 3/8” long by 1 1/8” wide and weighs 8.4 grams. It features a wide oval porcelain section that is hand-painted with beautiful blue forget me nots, or similar flowers and a pink rose against a white background and is framed with painted bright gold/gilt. This porcelain piece is prong set against a thick gold metal piece that is set with the traditional “C” type pin fastener. This brooch/pin was found at an estate sale in northwestern Iowa in the 1970’s and it is in very good condition with no damage other than very minor age appropriate wear on the metal. This pin has lovely color and was painted by a skilled artist.
