Description: This antique sugar bowl is a rare addition to any Transferware collection. It features a lovely rich blue transferware pattern with an African figures riding zebras and horses, against a backdrop of a hut, mountains and palm trees. Surrounding this scene are exotic flowers and foliage. The bowl is a squared oval shape and has handles in the form of faces on each side. The sugar bowl measures approximately 5.5 inches by 6.5 inches (handle to handle), has a 4 inch by 3 inch rim for missing lid, and sits on a 4.5 inch by 3.5 inch foot. It would make a great planter! The item(s) are antique and sold as is/as found. The item(s) may show wear, fading, scratches, repairs, restoration, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use. I note chips to rim, particular wear to glaze on handles, and a crack visible from both interior and exterior of piece as shown in photos. Examine photos carefully as they are part of the description. Imperfections were factored into pricing. No returns or refunds.
