The company was known for its superior craftsmanship in producing sterling silver and gold pieces. This case is larger than most. It measures 7" long by 3 1/8" wide and weighs 220 grams. It's marked STERLING R B Co. and is numbered 2870. It has the name of the original owner, from Richmond, VA, and has the initials RTS on the front of the case. It's in excellent condition, with minimal tarnish, and shows very little wear.
