Description: A lovely little Staffordshire child's cup and saucer with hand painted blue and green floral decoration. Thin pottery with a pearlware glaze; dates from around 1830's. The saucer has an impressed propeller mark similar to the one used by Joseph Heath & Co. Saucer measures 4 1/8" across and 1" deep. Cup is 1 3/4" tall and 2 3/4" across the top. The set is 2" tall overall. Condition: Shiny glaze with no discoloration or glaze wear; light normal glaze crazing. Displays great, however the cup has a tight 1" long hairline off the rim. The saucer has a faint 1/4" long hairline off the rim and a small nick next to the base rim from the kiln stilt, otherwise fine. Satisfaction Guaranteed!
