Description: Antique Sheffield English Bone or Horn and Silver Steak Knives Set of 6 in Box EXCELLENT Antique Condition Beautiful Set of six, natural horn handled knives with unmarked silver mounted end caps and banded ferrules, made by Samuel Peace in Sheffield, England, circa 1895-1910. The set is in the original fitted black tooled leather presentation case, Hallmarked Made in England. The blades are Stainless steel. They have a sharp straight edge that is marked- Samuel Peace, Sheffield, England. The Knives are in Excellent condition! They are Heavy, good quality, in Excellent condition with the expected light wear and patina. Blades and mounts fit tightly into the handles. They are in Excellent shape considering there age and use. The inside of the case, the left side of the fabric is not in Very Good shape (see photos) Measurements: Knives are 9 1 /4 inches L x 3/4 inch W Box is: 10.5 in. L x 6.5 in. W x 3/4 in.
