After his death in 1910, the collection was donated to local institutions where it has sat for the last 100+ years. The collection covers many styles of works over numerous centuries so be sure to check back regularly for new listings. This listing is for a large original mezzotint engraving of Sir David Dundas done by Samuel William Reynolds after a painting done by William Owen. It has been trimmed just outside the impression mark and laid dow on paper . There are some light wrinkles and a very small tear at the “i” in David. There is a cross and date of 1820 written on bottom edge . The print measures 14” x 10”. Provenance: The Winfield Robbins Collection
