Description: Beautiful set of six antique decorative plates by Samuel Alcock of Hill Pottery, Burslem. Hand painted, each with a different floral centre. Detailed cobalt and gilt border and edges. Painted pattern number to bases of four of the plates - 9171. Two plates unmarked to base. Dates between1842 and 1845. Approximate Size: 9¼" diameter. Condition: In very good antique condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Antique items, so there may be minor wear to the paint and gilding and minor usage marks.
