Antique S & M Lamp Co. 6/30/1914 No. 70 Running Headlamp Assy Parts Restored A+

Description: Hi All. Here's a beautiful Antique/vintage 1914 S & M Lamp Co., Model 70, Headlamp/Running lamp assembly in 99% restored condition. 4 pieces total. Includes the Housing, partial bracket, lens trim and securing band. Needs a couple more parts to be complete. Manufactured in Los Angeles CA. Stamped 6/30/14. Gloss black paint is 99.9% excellent (slight scuffs on trim ring edge) on housing. Nickel plate polished down to brass on knob. Tight with no dings/dents. Script sharp. Trim retainer has some OE plating left. Securing screw/ threads tight with no damage . Housing diameter is 6.0 inches. Length from edge of housing to tip of knob is 4-3/4 inches. Needs 1/2 of the mount bracket, spacer washers, inner reflector, and glass lens to be complete. (bracket is polished). I like to see lots of Photos (went to school for it) when listing, but if i missed something. Let me know. Can shoot more, no problem, and zip them your way. So it came from a local independent repair/resto shop in Oceanside, CA., where I worked in the 90's. The original owner had the only shop here in North San Diego County at that time that repaired Packards. Went back to the 1930s as I heard. Everything Packard. (and others) Really amazing. Best job ever. From Super Eights to Patricians and Clippers and 110 s 120s. He Repaired and restored lots of Studebakers, Fords Chyslers Dodge GM Chevys and many other early cars from that era. Taught me a lot. Great job. Long story short, shop had to close for financial reasons, and I essentially got paid, in parts, in the end. Check out my Store for some of those hard-to-find goodies.
