Description: This is an old antique oil on board from an estate of an art collector. The back has Russian writing, and last owner says it reads Transfiguration 18th Century silver chased frame oil Icon. The frame is 10 1/2" by 12 1/4". The frame has some numbers I do not know the meaning of. The frames content is unknown to me. Under a loupe I see a few very short scratches on the painting not worth noting. See photo. Nice condition and nicely painted. You should love it. Thanks for looking.
