Description: Repurposed Unique Cast Iron Table When we came across this piece, it was purple with a multicolored top, but the potential was there.It is constructed of a cast iron parlor stove base with a wooden top. The metal was painted black,and the raised decorative pieces were painstakingly hand painted gold over a period of severalhours to get the piece to its present appearance. Structurally all is in fine shape with nodamage, excessive wear or stripped bolts. There is no corrosion to be found, and thecast iron looks excellent overall. The wooden top piece has been repainted analmond color. This came out fine, and the only areas to point out are someshallow dig marks on the two long sides. Since the top is removable, onecould repair or replace it - or leave it as it is, since the marks are relativelyminor. Overall, this is a fine looking repurposed antique piece is very goodstructural condition.
