Description: Today we are pleased to offer for sale a stunning and rare ormolu-mounted Chinese porcelain vase. This exquisite vase dates from the 18th century Qing dynasty. It is finely crafted and detailed. The vase features a delicate trumpet-form white porcelain body. The vase is hand-painted with lovely blue designs featuring a fantastical fenced palace garden with large blooming peonies and exotic trees, with decorative border encircling the collar. The vase features a French Louis XV Rococo gilt bronze ormolu fitted stand of very fine quality, most likely from the mid to late 19th century. The vase is currently unattached to the mount but can be easily glued (if desired). This small vase is perfect for a beautiful flower or small branch and will add Chinoiserie style to any tablescape! The vase presents well and is in good antique condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. There is minimal surface wear, no cracks, and a few tiny chips along the edge of base (partly obscured when vase is placed in ormolu stand). The stand is in excellent condition, with minimal wear. Please review all photos. Dimensions: vase 5-1/8” in height, 2.5” in diameter top, 6.5” in height with stand
