Description: This auction is for an ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FARRIER TOOL. It is a home made HORSE HOOF FILE ~ RASP, 17" long. The craftsman cut a curve into a piece of wood, bent a file to match the curve, and then attached the file at each end with a screw. This device enabled the farrier to give the horse a manicure! A very old tool, likely late 1800's. A great unique item to display in a Veterinarian office or horse barn.
