Description: This is an original and rare playing cards wrapper from the 1889 Paris Exposition. The cards were manufactured in France by B Grimaud and are marked as a POKER deck for the exposition. It may be that these decks were wrapped in paper and not in a box and may have been a souvenir of the Paris Exposition. That's a supposition. In any event, an unusual item. The paper is very thin, almost tissue-like, and will be shipped in hard plastic sleeve. Thank you for considering our listing!
