Description: Antique Candy ScaleDescription: Superb Computing Scale made by the Pelouze Mfg. Co. in Chicago. The base and mechanism of the scale is made of cast iron and the measure is metal. The measure is capable of weighing items up to 2 pounds. It was made to compute the dollar amount for candy in a store based on weight. The weighted slide on the scale easily moves up and down the measure and the scale pan easily moves when weight is placed on it. Comes with a metal pan for placing items. In usable condition, though we are unsure as to its accuracy. Guaranteed to be old. This neat scale would make a great addition to any scale or general store memorabilia collection! Overall in GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Measures 14" wide, 3 1/2" deep at the base, 9" deep at the pan and 8 1/4" tall.
