Description: This is a fantastic antique Gesso embossed picture frame that is done in a gold with white wash finish that is original and not done some time after. This nice frame features a raised design of flowers and a stems and leaves. Around the outer edge is a beaded design.Back has the old wood backing but has cracked and missing some of the original wood. The frame measures about 17 3/4" x 15" for outer measurements and can accommodate a picture measuring about 15 1/2" x 13". There is some minor chipping or small areas where the gesso has chipped off at each corner area or near the corner. I have shown all 4 areas which are nothing real major. Has glass but not sure if it is original. Has an old litho style print but nothing special of much value. The gold looks a bit nicer in person than my photos but is a rather nice unique frame for your special project. I will ship with glass unless requested otherwise.
