Description: Antique Northern French Faience Pottery Fish VesselThis is an unusual faience vessel, of lozenge form with fish head spouts four holes & a central neck & rim. Decorated in the traditional manner of Northern France with artists mark to the base, probably circa 1900. It looks like a quill pen holder & inkwell but there are no traces of ink so presumably it serves another purpose.CONDITION a chip to the lip of one of the fish as per imagesThe overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.DIMENSIONSHeight 9.6cmDiameter 21cmPOSTAGE - see postage & payments tab for prices- I combine items for shipping wherever possible.- I charge only the actual cost of the postage & packaging materials, I do not charge a handling fee.- Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.- Items will be sent to your Paypal registered address.
