Description: Antique MZ Austria Plate Gold Rim Red Green Geometric c 1900 1884-1909 8" Beautiful, uniquely designed fine porcelain plate with outter gold trim and maroon flanked on the inner side by green and red geometric pattern. The plate's MZ Austria mark was used by Moritz Zdekauer on porcelains made at their Altrohlau, Austria, works from 1884-1909. Since 1909, the company has changed hands but kept the MZ trademark because it was so well recognized. The company is still in operation and goes under the name Starorolsky Porcelan Moritz Zdekauer. Plate is in very good condition. Great for display or serving up some cookies or pasteries!
