Description: This is a late 19th Century hatpin holder. The markings on the bottom are M Z AUSTRIA and a crown. The number 1267 is impressed in the bottom. It is cream with a pretty decoration of pink roses and green leaves at the top and bottom, as well as gold trim. The condition is excellent. No breaks or restorations. The height is 5 3/4" and the bottom is 3 1/4" in diameter.The MZ Austria marks were used by this porcelain factory since it was in 1884 bought on auction by Moritz Zdekauer Bank. The company exported products to North and South Americas and the Dutch colonies. Please view photos for more details.
