Antique Metal Shoe Horn and Button Hook 1920s in Original Box Made in Germany

Description: Found on the property of an Old New England home dating back to the 1700's, carefully tucked away in one of many forgotten boxes, was this ever dainty, cute shoe horn and button hook in it's original box! Presumably metal due to the weight, this foldable, multipurpose shoe horn also poses as a button hook once unfolded, making it convenient and compact enough to carry around or for travel, while also being sturdy enough to withstand even the peskiest of shoes (within reason, of course, due to its vintage condition). What you see in these photographs is exactly what you will be receiving. There is some rust due to the nature of its storage and the natural wear and tear of time. Nothing will be polished to retain the piece's antique integrity. For a reference of size, it can fit in the palm of a fairly small adult hand with room to still spare. Now, onto the especially charming paper box! The shoe horn and button hook box is in decently good/fair vintage condition for its age (being over a 100 years old) with the account of some patch staining on various parts of the box. But past that, the box depicts an image of a young woman in 1920's-esque fashion using the shoe horn, as well as a darling poem, "If I'm put into the heel of your shoe, I'll help put it on, then I'll button it too."
