Description: Antique Mayan El Salvador Pre Columbian Polychrome Pottery Bowl Circa 450-600 A.D. based on internet findings of similar bowls. By my best guess it is from current El Salvador. Wonderful interior and exterior painted design. This bowl is a local estate item and ownership history is not available. I absolutely have no knowledge of this bowl. The bowl has a base sticker from a quality New York City Auction House - Arte Primitivo. The beautiful design and color are without hesitation Pre Columbian. There is age, wear and paint chipping all over the bowl. 4 inches tall and 7 inches across across the rim. Weighs roughly 1 pound 5 ounces. Please see my photos and enlarge as needed. Questions are welcomed but note I did seek out the internet for information. Thank You NOTE-Shipping includes insurance and a delivery signature.
