Description: Maddox Colonial Reproductions of Jamestown, NY Fold Down Desk measures 39" W x 23" D x 42" H Four dovetailed serpentine drawers sit atop hand-carved ball and claw feet. Entire piece is in superior condition and does not appear to have been refinished. Solid wood circa 1890-1920. The drop-down desk surface has automatic sliding side supports making the writing surface very stable. The interior space has four vertical pigeonholes flanking a shell decorated prospect door along with two hidden compartments behind the pull-out posts on either side of this center cubbyhole. Four large drawers with brass hardware. All brass hardware. Two knobs missing from interior. No key. Some blemishes.
