Description: This is a set of 3 Antique Leonard Vienna Austria Porcelain plates. Each one has a different color background. The image on the beige one features a couple with a baby, the light green one a couple (courting?) and the pale blue one has a nude baby or cherub (I don’t see wings) in the center. The pale blue one has a chip that is very difficult to see. A touch-up to the gilding will make make it virtually invisible—I’m leaving it to the new owner. See the last 2 pics to see the green pen cap pointing toward it. Each plate measures approximately 5.5” across. Circa 1891. P.H. Leonard, Vienna, Austria. Leonard was a New York importer well known for importing high quality Bohemian, Austrian and French porcelain during the last quarter of the 19th century. It appears that the P.H. Leonard firm went bankrupt sometime around 1898-1900.
