The face on some others of these I've seen are truly horrendous and coupled with no mark, likely not genuine. Picture:5" x 6 5/8" Overall in Frame: 11" x 10" Louis Gallait (Belgium 1810-87) This painting Art & Liberty is at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. Some past sales pictured not including buyers premium. And last picture is another beautiful painting by the same artist. Cheers : ) Condition:Nice but has 3 scratches as shown. The scratches are not as obvious in person on wall in use as they appear in photographs. Looks like an easy job to touch up foran art restoration person and is why I have priced it low, to allow for that workshould you decide to do it. Hard to photograph, closest to original color in person are the first two pictures which were taken with flash.
