Description: Antique Japanese Noh Theatre Mask Kishin Demon 1800s with Crate. I have owned this beautiful Meiji period mask for appx. 20 years however, Ive never had a proper place to display it so It has been packed away all that time. This would look great in a tattoo shop or oddities collection etc. The craftsmanship is superb. The mask is large and measures appx. 14” in height by 9” across. It is made of some type of machet material. Very thick and well made. Makers marks on inside of mask as well as the original shipping crate. Horsehair facial hair and wonderful details. No damage or repairs. Guaranteed authentic 1800’s Japanese theatre mask. I’ve collected for 30 years and have never come across another like it.
