Description: This is a professionally framed illustration by Henry Winkles. Henry was an English architectural illustrator, engraver and printer, who, together with Karl Ludwig Frommel founded the first studio for steel engraving in Germany. The piece includes images of Vishnu, Buddha, and Hindu ascetics. I am not sure when it was produced, but research suggests sometime around 1800-1860. It is in overall excellent condition, only a few minor nicks in the wood frame which I have pictured. 18.5” Wide X 16.5 Length
