I will be listing many pieces from his collection.Up for sale is this antique oil on paper painting depicting a woman seated in a chair by a sleeping child in a bed facing the wall. It measures 6 " by 9" sight size and frame measures 15 1/2" by 12 1/2". It is in very good condition and the quality and detail are fantastic. I will gladly combine shipping if you by more than one. This one is not signed but guaranteed to e by Waugh.Here is some info on the artist: Ida Waugh (c. 1846-1919)Born in Philadelphia, Waugh studied at home with her father Samuel B. Waugh (1814-1885) as well as at the Pennsylvania Academy, and at the Academie Julian in Paris. Her work was often on religious-allegorical themes or scenes of Dutch life. Her illustrated children's books were produced with her lifelong companion Amy Blanchard who owned a neighboring summer cottage in Maine.
