He specialized in florals.(Reference: Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China)The plate is decorated with hand painted white blossoms and green foliage outlined with gold and resting on a pastel background. The round edge is heavily gilded and decorated with golden leaves.The porcelain is fine and transparent, probably Limoges, but the white ware mark is covered by the decorating mark.The plate is 8 3/4" in diameter.
