Description: This is an antique horseshoe that was recently unearthed in an old barn in Litchfield County, Connecticut. Hand forged iron and very large. This measures 7 1/2" from rounded top to the end of either side. It is 7" wide/across at its widest point. Must have been for a very large animal. Is very heavy and has a wonderful authentic/ primitive patina. Has age related wear, pitting, surface rust, etc. as shown . A one of a kind decor item. Sale final; no return. Thanks for looking!
