Description: While clearing our new land for building, my husband and I ran across this gem! It is a millstone or grindstone, but I cannot find one exactly like it. It has 2 characters carved into the one side that could be interpreted as an L or a 2 along with a zero, O, or V. I've asked the neighbors and no one seems to have any information. It is roughly 12" in diameter, 2" thick, and the square in the center is a little over 3" square. There are naturally occurring chips and nicks, but it is in decent shape and would look great as a centerpiece in a flower bed or as part of a DIY project. I'd love to see someone make it back into a working grindstone also! Whatever your ideas, this piece is priced to sell! Happy bidding!
