Description: Antique retractable pocket tape measure with metal case and cloth tape that has inches on one side and centimeters on the other. It is white metal with gilt embossed owl on the front. This cute owl is seated on a branch, great details, and he has celluloid googly eyes!On the reverse side is push button that retracts the tape, and it works, although I needed to push a couple times to get tape to fully retract after pulling it out 12", but not all the way. Marked GERMANY on the side edge just under where the tape retracts into the body of metal case.Measures 1-1/2" in diameter. The cloth tape is in very good condition, and so is this wonderful looking case.
