Description: You are looking at an antique German Victorian / Art Nouveau Mourning Brooch / Pin with 3 celluloid photos of a man and 2 women (I think this is left to right: mother, daughter and father). The pin is in the style of Art Nouveau and the clothes the people are wearing are Victorian. The metal looks to be rose gold plated and is marked on the back , three times, "SD", which I believe in Germany means it is gold filled/plated. The top of the piece has a chain added to it (maybe to someone could add a necklace to it and wear it around their neck instead of using the pin). The top also has a tiny pink stone/glass and 2 tiny pearls. The bottom has a tiny pink stone/glass as well. Below the bottom stone is a loop of metal which may have held a decorative dangly piece, not sure.The pin is C-clasp and functions as it should. There is crackling to the celluloid photos, but still in lovely condition. The pin is about 2" x 1.25". A wonderful piece for the collector of Victorian Brooches.
