Antique German All-Bisque Child Doll 3&3/4” Girl with Sweet Face & Braided Wig

Description: This antique 3&3/4” German all-bisque sweet faced doll has a human hair wig, painted eyes and is wire jointed at the shoulders & hips. She was made just after the turn of the last century or earlier and the upper back is marked Germany. The original wig is exceptionally nice, with a braid coiled around her head. The doll wears her factory original muslin pantaloons that are still partly glued to one hip. She has brown painted Mary Jane shoes and white socks with blue lines on the top edges. Her home sewn outfit is included because it has been with the doll for many years. The dress appears to have been mommy made and the slip made by a child. The doll is in excellent, undamaged condition from a smoke-free home. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or repaints. There is light wear to the eye paint, and a factory flaw on the back of the right arm. The undergarment has two small holes where it appears to have snagged on the hip wires.
