Antique Georgian 10K Gold & Silver Emerald Rose Cut Diamond Pearl Brooch

Description: Here is this very rare early 19th century true Georgian era emerald diamond and Pearl brooch. Carefully examined here under magnification this is a very intricately made piece with a 900 silver top and a solid 10K gold backing pin and closure . This type of intricate hand done split metalwork was done by a long time master and it is completely handmade. this is true Georgian construction , there are 10 round faceted natural emeralds between 3.0 mm and 3.8 mm each with visible inclusions and they have a darker green color next there are 36 small Rose cut diamonds A couple of the diamonds appear to have very old microscopic drop of adhesive on the back seen under microscope , with two diamonds missing there should be 38 however I have a collection of gemstones and diamonds I can include the 2 rose cut diamonds for this brooch I just do not have the ability to take it somewhere and have them put in under microscope as it is a difficult repair and the piece is so old that somebody needs to just be very slow and careful with it . This brooch weighs 10.9 grams and measures 1 7/8 inches top to bottom on a ruler, in the center there is a pear-shaped natural Baroque Pearl measuring about 9 mm x 6.5 mm and it is gorgeous without scratches or abrasions . On the back it has a straight pin and sturdy handmade closure that sits just a tiny bit crooked but it was made that way . Please study the photos this is a very rare antique from a private collection missing two small Rose cut diamonds that I will include with the brooch although they probably never really need to be put back in. A piece like this could be worked on by a professional jeweler for many hours checking every little prong and giving it a fine detailed cleaning under microscope when repairing the two diamonds and it should be done very slowly and carefully as this is a very rare and beautiful and one-of-a-kind antique in need of a little TLC . ...This item will be shipped priority mail immediately.
