Description: This listing is for a gorgeous French clock. This masterpiece dates to the early 19th century is made from gilt bronze. The colors on this are incredible! The clock features a statue of a maiden with a bird seated upon on a hill The clock measures 9.75 x 3.65 x 14.25 inches. The casing appears to be in overall good condition. Some minor tarnishing from age, but nothing out of the ordinary The silk thread movement is signed “J.C. Cailly.” Both springs are good, but we cannot test it properly as the pendulum is missing. The bell and minute hand are missing as well One arm connecting the movement to the back door is broken.
