Description: Wonderful set of 11 lovely large damask napkins. Beautiful framed floral motif on boarder and around center monogram. Tossed sprigs between. Lovely large center monogram MC. I adore the cheerful daisy detail! Meticulously hand sewn hems on most some actually have machine hems, very unusual to have them mixed! Linen with perhaps a bit of cotton or hemp blend as hand is slightly coarse . Color soft antique white. Dating from the early 1900's. Condition: Fabulous for age and use! After a good soak I don't note any spots or yellowing left. Perhaps something small that didn't catch my eye but overall they came great! Freshly washed, hung to dry and pressed.Please see photos and use zoom for additional detail.
