The matching chair features more of the carvings and spindle rails above and below the center carved panel of a seated Breton lady in period dress, with brass tacking around the covered leather seat. Both the desk and the chair have large turned French legs and cross stretcher for stability and support. Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
